Neurological Restoration is MindForge's discipline: measure how the brain and nervous system are actually functioning — objectively, instrument by instrument — then rebuild function through an intensive program engineered from your results. Not managing symptoms around a diagnosis. Restoring the function underneath it. MindForge is its Dallas–Fort Worth home.
Rewiring, not habituating
Much of conventional neurological care, through no fault of the clinicians inside it, is built to help you live with dysfunction: compensate, accommodate, take the edge off, come back in six weeks. The system calls it management, and for some conditions management is exactly right.
But the brain is not a fixed circuit. Neuroplasticity — the nervous system's capacity to reorganize and rebuild pathways in response to targeted input — is one of the most consistently demonstrated properties in modern neuroscience. Neurological Restoration is built on it: identify precisely which systems are underperforming (vestibular, oculomotor, autonomic, metabolic, motor), then drive them with concentrated, individually calibrated input, and re-measure until the data says the function changed.
That is the thesis in one sentence: find the dysfunction with instruments, treat it with intensity, and prove the change with the same instruments.
Specific before intensive
The order matters: measurement first, then targeting, then intensity. Instrumented testing doesn't stop at documenting that balance, vision, or focus is off — it works to localize which systems and pathways carry the dysfunction: vestibulo-ocular integration, cervical proprioceptive input, autonomic regulation, oculomotor control, the networks behind attention and processing speed. Your program is then aimed at those pathways specifically — the therapies your findings select, not a standard package. Intensity is the delivery format; specificity is the treatment. Concentrated dosing only pays when it's pointed at the right target, and finding that target is what the Discovery Day exists to do.
What that looks like as care
Care at MindForge follows one continuum, and you always know where you are in it:
- Discovery — the MindForge Discovery Day: a comprehensive neurological evaluation + report of findings + care plan, in one diagnostic day — one fixed fee, the same for everyone, shared plainly on your first call. You review your own results with the clinician the same day.
- Intensive — an individualized program — typically 3–5 clinical hours a day across 5–10 treatment days, weekends off, dosed to your diagnosis and severity — integrating everything your evaluation says you need. Programs are individualized — pricing is shared plainly on your free 15-minute call, and your exact quote comes with your Discovery Day results — and a Good Faith Estimate.
- Continuum — structured follow-through that keeps building on what you rebuilt — continued gains, not just protection — with periodic re-testing against your own baseline.
The day-by-day texture of an intensive — schedules, breaks, family, what a session actually feels like — is on what to expect.
Why MindForge exists
We built MindForge because the patients we serve kept falling through the same four structural cracks:
The integration gap. The brain, the body's metabolism, and the body itself are treated in three different buildings by three providers who have never spoken. The patient becomes the messenger — and the plan becomes contradictory. MindForge is the only DFW practice that integrates intensive neurotherapy, functional medicine, and clinical strength & conditioning into a single, measured, individualized program. One evaluation. One plan.
The dizziness runaround. Vestibular disorders are among the most misidentified problems in medicine — patients cycle between ENT, neurology, and urgent care while the actual vestibular system goes unmeasured. A proper instrumented vestibular workup, read by clinicians who do this every day, is the difference between "probably anxiety" and an answer.
The POTS care desert. People with POTS and dysautonomia routinely wait years for a name for their condition, then discover that almost nobody offers structured, supervised rehabilitation for it. Exercise is first-line, evidence-based care for POTS — but only when it's built and paced for autonomic dysfunction. Reconditioning without the crash is a discipline of its own, and it's one of ours.
The insurance-visit ceiling. What most clinics can offer is capped by what a 45-minute reimbursed visit can contain — not by what the evidence says an intensive dose can do. As a direct-pay practice, we designed the program around the intervention rather than the reimbursement code, and put program pricing plain and up front — the numbers shared on your first call, then a written Good Faith Estimate — so you can make an adult decision about it.
None of this makes conventional providers the enemy — your neurologist, your PT, your pediatrician remain exactly who they should be, and we work alongside them. It makes the structure the problem. MindForge is a structural answer.
Three service lines. One program.
Everything above is delivered through three service lines under one roof — stated plainly, because each is a real clinical discipline, not a brand flourish:
- Intensive Neurotherapy — intensive outpatient neurorehabilitation: vestibular, oculomotor, balance, autonomic, and cognitive work, individually calibrated from your assessment data and adjusted by your clinical team as your data changes.
- MindForge Functional Medicine — functional medicine, built around the brain: metabolic, autonomic, and gut-brain-axis assessment and care, because recovery runs on what the rest of your body provides.
- Neuro Strength & Conditioning — clinical strength & conditioning: medically supervised training for people whose conditions make ordinary exercise the wrong tool, from POTS reconditioning to balance and fall-prevention work.
You never assemble these yourself. Your Discovery Day results determine the mix; the conditions we treat pages show what that mix typically looks like per condition.
What MindForge is not
The category we work in has blurry edges, so here are ours:
- Not a franchise. One brain center, one clinical team, built in Dallas for depth rather than replication.
- Not a neurofeedback studio. Neurofeedback-style tools may appear inside a program where the evaluation supports it; nothing here is a one-modality subscription.
- Not a wellness program. This is clinical care: doctor-led, licensed, documented, measured — with a defined beginning, middle, and end.
- Not alternative medicine. We don't position ourselves against your physicians — we coordinate with them, send records back, and route you out when we're not the right fit.
- Not a promise factory. No cure language, no guarantees. Measured change against your own baseline, or a direct conversation about why not.
Where the evidence stands
Every modality we use is chosen from the published literature — vestibular rehabilitation, sub-symptom-threshold exercise after concussion, structured exercise programs for POTS, multidisciplinary motor retraining, fall-prevention exercise. At the modality level, that evidence is real and citable, and we cite it on each condition page.
Your program is an evidence-informed synthesis of those modalities, individualized to your presentation. That's the precise phrase — and it reflects how the methodology frameworks used by bodies like the UK Medical Research Council and the FDA treat complex, individualized interventions: evaluated by systematic measurement in the population actually being treated. Which is exactly why we instrument everything: your outcomes are measured, documented, and reviewed with you, and our aggregate outcomes will be published when the data earns it — not before.
Where we stop
Some conditions we support as an adjunct, not a replacement — your neurologist stays your neurologist. Some patients we route elsewhere, and we treat that as a good outcome, not a failed sale. And nothing on this site is a diagnosis: it's a description of how we work, written so you can decide whether a measured evaluation is worth a day of your time.
