Clinical Strength & Conditioning — the MindForge Way

Book a 15 min call

Free, 15 minutes. It is a clinical fit conversation, not a sales screen.

Neuro Strength & Conditioning, engineered for how you move forward.

Neuro Strength & Conditioning is MindForge's third service line: medically supervised strength and conditioning for people whose neurological conditions make an ordinary gym — and ordinary exercise advice — the wrong tool. It's medically complex fitness: built from your clinical data, supervised at clinical standards, and progressed at the pace your physiology proves it can hold.

Who this exists for

People rebuilding from concussion or brain injury who need graded, sub-symptom-threshold conditioning — hard enough to adapt, never past the line that sets recovery back. People with POTS and dysautonomia, for whom the right training is first-line care and the wrong training is a three-day crash: reconditioning without the crash is a clinical discipline, and it lives here. Older adults working on balance, strength, and fall prevention with dignity. And graduates of MindForge programs who want their gains extended, not left to fade. And performance clients with nothing wrong at all: the same clinical supervision and measurement, contributed as the conditioning arm of tailored brain-performance programs drawn from all three MindForge service lines.

If you're starting from a condition, start at your condition page — POTS & dysautonomia, post-concussion syndrome, FND, or the conditions hub — because conditioning enters your care through your evaluation, not through a gym signup.

How it differs from a gym — and from generic "medical fitness"

  • It starts from your clinical data. Programming is built from your evaluation and your measured responses — heart-rate and symptom thresholds, balance metrics, recovery patterns — not from a template.
  • Supervision is clinical (G10). During the clinical phase of a program, movement work is delivered by the clinical team as part of therapy. Continuum-phase conditioning is trainer-supervised under clinical oversight — and we never blur that line or label trainer-delivered work as physical therapy.
  • The no-crash rule is the method. For exertion-sensitive conditions, intensity is titrated to stay under the symptom threshold while adaptation still happens. Feeling destroyed after a session isn't dedication here; it's a programming error.
  • It's measured. The same instrumented, own-baseline measurement discipline as everything at MindForge.

Where it fits in your care

Within programs, this service line contributes the movement and conditioning components your evaluation selects; after programs, continuum-phase options keep building on what you rebuilt. Structured offerings built on this line — including our balance and fall-prevention program — are described where they transact; nothing on this page is bookable by itself, deliberately.

How to start

Free 15-minute call → MindForge Discovery Day (comprehensive neurological evaluation + report of findings + care plan) → your program, with conditioning woven in where your data says it belongs.
