This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies on mindforge.health. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we collect.

011. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar technologies — pixels, tags, local storage, and scripts — that do comparable things. We group them into three categories.

022. What we use, specifically

Essential — always on. These make the site work and cannot be turned off: hosting and security cookies (serve pages, balance load, block abuse); a consent preference cookie (remembers the choices you make in our cookie banner); and form and booking embeds from our scheduling platform (make the callback form and scheduling pages function, and prevent duplicate submissions).

Analytics — off until you accept. Website analytics tells us which pages are used, where people get stuck, and whether the site is working. It receives pages viewed, clicks, device and browser, approximate location from IP, and an anonymous identifier.

Advertising — off until you accept. Search and social advertising click identifiers tell us a visit came from one of our ads; each receives the click identifier carried in the link. A planned server-side tagging service would send conversion signals to advertising platforms from our server rather than from your browser, limited to identifiers, funnel stage, timestamps, and click identifiers.

What advertising platforms never receive from us: the area of concern you selected, anything you typed into a form, and any clinical information. This is a deliberate design constraint on our tagging, not just a policy statement.

If you want to know which specific tools we use, ask us — call (214) 730-6463 or email info@mindforge.health and we will tell you.

Our printed materials — cards, flyers, signs, mailers — carry QR codes tagged so that scanning one tells us which piece of print you scanned and roughly where it was placed. Our ads and emails carry the same kind of tags. These tags identify the marketing piece, not you. They become connected to you only if you then choose to fill in a form or book an appointment.

044. Your choices

Our cookie banner. The first time you visit, you can accept or reject analytics and advertising technologies. Non-essential technologies do not run until you accept. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Preferences in the site footer.

Browser signals. We honor Global Privacy Control and comparable universal opt-out signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising.

Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will break parts of this site.

Advertising platform opt-outs: Google ad settings · your Meta ad preferences · industry tools at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.

055. Patient-facing surfaces

We do not run analytics or advertising technologies on patient portals, logged-in pages, or other patient-facing surfaces. Those tools run on our public marketing pages only.

066. Changes and contact

We update this policy when our tools change; the effective date tells you when. Questions: info@mindforge.health or (214) 730-6463.
