What Happens on a Discovery Day?

Book a 15 min call

Free, 15 minutes. It is a clinical fit conversation, not a sales screen.

The MindForge Discovery Day is one comprehensive diagnostic day — comprehensive neurological evaluation + report of findings + care plan. You spend the day being measured and examined, and you leave the same day with your findings explained, a conceptual treatment plan, and a clear picture of what care would involve — including whether this is the right place for you at all.

How the day is structured

The day opens with the quantified assessment battery, matched to your history: oculomotor and gaze-stability testing, vestibular and positional measures, balance posturography, autonomic testing, and cognitive measures, alongside a full clinical examination. Then your clinician sits down with you for the report of findings — your numbers, in plain terms, next to what they mean — and builds the conceptual treatment plan from them. The day also includes care-continuum education (how care progresses from Discovery Day through an intensive to maintenance) and case-study presentations, so you can see how findings like yours become programs.

There is no treatment session on the day — deliberately. The day's job is findings and a decision basis, so any commitment you make afterward rests on your own data rather than a felt impression.

What you leave with

A same-day report of findings, a conceptual care plan, and — if a program is recommended — an exact quote built directly from the day's results, delivered with a written Good Faith Estimate. Programs are individualized — pricing is scoped on your free 15-minute call beforehand; the exact number comes at the wrap, from your findings. And when the findings say a different setting serves you better, the report of findings says that too, with names and next steps.

How booking works — and why it starts with a call

The Discovery Day is scheduled live on a free 15-minute call with the care team — a clinical fit conversation, and the one self-serve step. On that call: your questions answered, fit assessed in both directions, and the day's fee shared — it is fixed, the same for everyone, and it's the same number you'll see in writing afterward. Local patients schedule on the day that works for them; if you're traveling to MindForge, records review happens before you travel and the week is planned around one trip.

How to prepare

Records: you send what exists, on your schedule, and we do the work — your history speaks for itself. Beyond that: clothes you can move in for the movement-based testing, your medication list, and — encouraged — a family member at the findings table. The care team walks you through the specifics for your case on the call.

Where it happens

MindForge is an instrumented, intensive brain center for neurological rehabilitation near Galleria Dallas, and the Discovery Day is the single front door to care here — every program is built from one. The complete picture, including the assessment battery in detail, lives on the Discovery Day page. When you're ready, book the free 15-minute call or dial (214) 730-6463.

It is a full diagnostic day at the brain center — assessment battery and clinical exam, then the report of findings and care-plan conversation the same day. The care team confirms your exact schedule on your call.

No — deliberately. The day produces findings, a report, and a plan, so your decision about care rests on your own data. Treatment begins with the program that follows, dosed from what the day measured.

The fee is fixed — one number, the same for everyone — shared on your free 15-minute call, and it's the same number you'll see in writing afterward. If a program is recommended, it is quoted as a range with a written Good Faith Estimate at the wrap.

The 15-minute call is the self-serve step; the Discovery Day itself is scheduled live on that call. Fit gets assessed in both directions first — it's a clinical conversation, and it's how we make sure the day is right for you before you commit to it.
